How would I introduce a
discussion of my approach
to instructional design?



Teacher povides real life story or writien story that relates to subject and provides a context for understanding the goal or main idea of lesson.
What are my resources
for designing units and
lessons?



The teacher uses resources from the interactive white board that can proviede pictures, videos, book tiltes, and general information that supports learning objectives.
What do I generally
do first?



I usually find an engaging activity that relates to the life style of my students and is developmentally approprate for the age level of students.
How do I interact with
the standards?



I write standards in words that the students can relate to. I can lean... or I can understand.... So that each child can build or construct learning from the objective and evaluate where he/she is on the road to matery.
What are my constraints
and how do I respond
to them?



My constraint is if the student does undersatnd what the learning objective is and is able to communicate his/her processs of learning. I find there is not always enought time to go back and extend learning.
How do I approach
student assessment?



I can observe specific rubric statements that refect outcomes of learning. Co-operative group learning activities that are assessed for individulal and group grades, student evaluations,and sumuative test that assess learned activities.
How do I approach
post-assessment?



I look at the number of mistakes made and look to see if there is a group or type of questions that is missed often. I would use this information to decide on reteaching. This would students an opportunity to correct and re-test.
